My daughter-in-law bought it for our son for a gift and he loves it. It takes great pictures.
I guess Wall Street Photo is trying to subsidize the execs. Why would you pay $400. On their site they show retail price of $150. He also said he paid a little over $100 when he bought his. This camera is no longer current for Canon. Check the Canon web site. My son-in-law recommended it, but also indicated it probably was no longer available from Canon unless they had some left over inventory.
Great prints. Highly recommended. This is the best camera I ever purchased. Fantastic features on this camera and very user friendly.
However, I do recall purchasing it for much less. I have been told several times that I take quality shots especially at family engagements. After losing my samsung, which I found to take extremely good pics and was no longer sold, I decided on this one and must say that for the price I paid for it, it takes very good pics. It disappointed me on a few occassions, however later found that you must learn to use the settings to get great pics.
This camera is simple to operate 4X optical zoom and 7MP and small size and price make this product ideal for what I use it for and that is trips whether it be hiking, backpacking or car. The large LCD is wonderful along with picture quality. I love this camera, from the ability to use AA sized batteries to the large LCD. The small size makes it handy to fit in pockets or packs where space is a premium.
